Biography: Rutledge M. Bradford
Ms. Bradford is a native Floridian, born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Bishop Moore High School in 1984, and attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina for one year before transferring to the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of Charleston in 1988. She attended Emory Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree in 1991. While at Emory, she was a member of the Moot Court Society and represented Emory in Moot Court competitions.
Upon graduating from Emory Law School in 1991, Ms. Bradford returned to Orlando and sat for the Florida Bar, receiving her license to practice law in September 1991. Since that time, she has been actively engaged in all aspects of civil litigation in both the circuit and county courts of Seminole, Orange, Osceola and Brevard counties.
Ms. Bradford’s practice has focused exclusively on automobile accidents and automobile insurance related matters. She has tried in excess of 30 civil jury trials in which she was lead counsel. In 1997, Ms. Bradford became a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, a title held by less than 5% of lawyers. In 1999, she received an A-V rating from Martindale-Hubbell, signifying her professional and ethical preeminence in the practice of law, as determined by her competitors and judges before whom she appeared. Ms. Bradford is an Eagle member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and is a member of the Orange County and Seminole County Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida as well as all State Courts throughout Florida.
She is the president of Rutledge Bradford Attorneys at Law, a plaintiffs personal injury firm devoted exclusively to the representation of injured parties and their health care providers. She is a licensed captain of the merchant marine, and enjoys boating and gardening as hobbies.
